For antiques collectors there’s no more exciting time in Texas than the twice yearly antiques shows in Round Top, Texas. This fall, Zandra Zurow of Little Yellow Couch and The Style Matters podcast will be hosting a style retreat in Round Top that combines personalized shopping opportunities during Antiques Week, good food, new friends and a styling session with me at my favorite venue, The Vintage Round Top.

Their daughter, Austin designer and owner of James Showroom, Meredith Ellis, helped update her parent’s Fredericksburg farm style home with fresh and bold fabrics to complement their antiques. It feels so fresh, comfortable and collected. My favorite!
At this busy time of year, having all your wrapping supplies organized and handy is so helpful. At our recent Christmas styled shoot at The Vintage Round Top, we turned an old repurposed bed spring and table into a gift wrap station for wrapping up pretty packages, vintage style.

The island is rich with history, wild horses, moss covered oaks and the ruins of historical mansions that once belonged to the Carnegie family.
