Found Images

During my latest trip to Round Top, I ran across the colorful booth of Found Images at Margurger Farm:

Shop owner, Catherine Niles, creates beautiful hand stitched and hand printed lampshades from old postcards, calendars and vintage pictures, matched with custom or vintage bases with new wiring. The shop also offers custom shades if you would like to use one of your own images.

I love the playfulness and whimsy of these shades. I believe we shouldn't be serious all the time in our decorating and adding a fun element like these lampshades lets a little of ones personality come through. The shop also carries pillows, apparel items and home furnishings and gifts all handmade in their Texas studio.

Catherine also carries vintage art such as the education chart above. This would be great in my boys game room. They would love it!

Found Images is located in Wichita Falls, Texas, however, Houston retailers Kuhl-Linscomb and The Arrangement carry some of her pieces.
