MAI ~ Memorial Antiques & Interiors

I was so excited to see this announcement come up in my Facebook feed yesterday that today I spent my morning cruising the aisles at:

Memorial Antiques & Interiors

I'm so glad I went. The shops were beautiful and there were some great markdowns. When you're done with  soccer games and school projects this weekend, grab your purse and get over there. This is where the good stuff is! 

The dealers and sweet staff were so helpful and let me take pictures, so here's what caught my eye today:

Unfortunately, I don't have booth numbers or dealer names for every one of these photos, but if you go, the store is very easy to navigate.  And, you should know they actually have two buildings now plus the consignment shop down the sidewalk.

The following 3 images are from the booth of Tamara Moore Interiors in Building 1.  She's got a great eye for vignettes and look at all those yellow tags!  Sale prices!

Throughout the store are beautiful lamps, art, chandeliers, shutters, accessories, garden antiques newly upholstered seating,  trumeau mirrors and 18th C. French furniture galore.

This basket filled with sea glass colored antique bottles with seashell tops caught my eye.  Happy to say a little one made it's way home with me!

The bottles and the following images are part of a new shipment Deborah Jenson of Faded Rose Antiques just unpacked. in Building 1.  Beautiful faux bois table.

I loved the happy yellow French settee above.  Great piece for a bedroom.

The blue glass cloche was one of my favorites.

Here's a peek at Deborah working hard to get ready for the sale this weekend. If you miss her at MAI, she's also got a booth at the Antique Pavillion. She'll also be at the upcoming Urban Market show and  Marburger Farm show during Antique Week.

MAI has a great selection of antique oil paintings. I would fill my home with these over mass produced art any day.

I wish I knew whose booth this is below because I think we would be friends.  

Below, is the "book lady" Kay Gilbreath, a MAI favorite. Found right inside the doors of Building 1, her booth is filled with leather books, original art and vintage natural finds.

A shop full of soothing neutrals:

The last booth I stopped in was Doris Young's (dealer #644) in Building 1, right by the front desk.  She had a great deal on vintage German educational charts for $35.00 ! I chose one that will look great over my mantle for fall. I'll share it with you soon.

Isn't this place amazing? Lots of talent here. I really enjoyed the beautiful and inspiring displays. Hope you get over there and find some deals this weekend!
