Abalone and Air Plants

Perfect for a small desk top garden, air plants (Tillandsia) require only indirect light and the occasional misting. Relying on nutrients and moisture found in the air, no soil is needed to grow these miniatures from the bromeliad family. I tucked mine into an abalone shell and surrounded them with even smaller shells. These were found locally at Buchanan's Plants in The Heights.
