Puzzled
Our little house was full on Christmas Day with my husband's family. I've been a part of this family since I was 15 years old and as long as I can remember they have been a family that plays games together. They're also puzzle do-ers (is that a word?). So I picked up a cute Christmas themed puzzle to have out on the coffee table on Christmas Day and it was fun to see how drawn to it everyone was. I sat back and watched Pop work his magic on this puzzle like Rainman counting cards in Vegas.
The scalloped edges were tricky, but we finished it that evening.
I picked this puzzle up at Barnes & Noble but I took a little trip around the net to see what kind of unique puzzles I could find. I remember seeing this beautiful wooden puzzle at Anthropologie:
Here's a small one listed on Etsy
And this one from Amazon:
I think I'll start keeping an eye out for these high dollar wood puzzles at the thrift store. It's nice to have everyone hanging out together around a fun activity that doesn't require a screen.
